      <p class="maintext">For starters, I thought I would talk a bit about the interaction between event marketing groups and sales departments. Specifically the expectation that event marketers have of their organization's sales team to recruit registrants.</p>
      <p class="maintext">Here's my bottom line: <strong>Sales Reps Won't Make Your Event Calls!</strong></p>
      <p class="maintext">Unless your sales team meets all or most of these conditions:</p>
      <ul>
        <li class="maintext">Is very junior</li>
        <li class="maintext">Has nothing better to do</li>
        <li class="maintext">Is only paid by salary</li>
        <li class="maintext">Is not held to quotas</li>
        <li class="maintext">Is actually a customer service group in disguise</li>
      </ul>
